This Höfner classical guitar uses a combination of spruce and cedar for the top, giving it a distinctive appearance and a unique sound. It combines the best characteristics of both tonewoods, both visually and aurally. With a flamed hard maple body and a satin finish, its beautiful appearance is only matched by the superb tonal qualities. The HF14 has proved very popular with students, particularly younger ones, who like the unusual twin wood top and style. Built to our very high standards in our workshops in Germany, it is a robust guitar able to withstand the knock and bangs of everyday life and is a fine instrument which is excellent value for money.
